On Sunday the 21st September 2008, the Muhammadi Trust of GB & N. Ireland co hosted a seminar at the University College London, to commemorate the martyrdom of Imam Ali (as), the cousin of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).

Guest speakers included Dr. Chris Hewer, Dr. Raza Shah-Kazemi and Barrister Murtaza Lakha. The programme concluded with an interactive Q&A session.
